Founded in August 2007, Happy Feet Childcare Center began as a vision to provide a high-quality, nurturing foundation for the children of our community. This mission was established by my mother, whose passion for early childhood development remains the heartbeat of our organization.
Having been active in the childcare field since the age of 16, I am honored to carry this legacy forward. Following the loss of my parents, I dedicated my professional life to expanding the safe, developmental space they built. Today, Happy Feet Childcare Center serves as a premier environment where children are empowered to grow, learn, and master essential life skills. As a family-owned business, we are defined by our personal attention to every child and an uncompromising commitment to integrity and excellence.

Funny Daffer Curriculum
Happyfeet Childcare Center partners with Funny Daffer to deliver a curriculum tailored for every age and stage of development, from birth to age five. We know children's needs change, and Frog Street's approach provides developmental and learning continuums that empower children to build on existing skills, making new achievements seamless. The curriculum comprehensively addresses each child's growth in cognitive, language, literacy, physical, and social-emotionalareas. Nourished Meals
Well-nourished kids make the best learners! That’s why nutritious meals and snacks are provided every day—and they’re all included in your tuition. Even if your child has allergies or dietary restrictions, we’ll serve up safe and delicious menu options created by nutrition education experts. At mealtimes, your child will get brave trying new things, practice good table manners, learn to share, and discover the flavors and textures of world foods!
Dresscode
All students are expected to dress appropriately for the educational environment. We believe that appropriate student dress contributes to a productive learning environment, and we want to ensure the health and safety of our students. We have chosen to adopt the school uniform policy to help create a sense of community and encourage pride in our school. The policy was developed by school staff. students at our school are required to participate in our school uniform policy. Students are allowed to wear sun- protective clothing, including has, for outdoor use only during the school day.
Monday -Thursday uniform is as follows:
MONDAY-Red
TUESDAY-Black
WEDNESDAY-Green
THURSDAY-Blue
FRIDAY- Dress Down Day
SHOES- students may wear their choice of shoes. However, they must be safe inappropriate to the learning environment and aligned with DCPS student dress code policy, CROCS OR FLIP FLOPS ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE
